Mackin House Museum This early 1900s heritage home houses many artifacts and displays pertaining to Coquitlam's early history. The house was built in 1909 as a residence for Mr. H. J. Mackin, the General Sales Manager of Fraser Mills, a impressive lumber mill. Hundreds of historical items, toys, photos and rooms decorated in 1900s may be viewed. Fraser Mills Station Museum Originally constructed in 1910, the Fraser Mills station was later moved to its present site in Heritage Square, at the Place des Arts. Fraser Mills station now stands as a reminder of Maillardville's beginnings, a piece of living history in Coquitlam's French-Canadian community. The museum is open by appointment only.
